What Makes Chile's Lake District One of South America's Most Scenic Regions?

Chile's Lake District, the Región de los Lagos, is where the Andes meet water in the most photogenic way possible. Osorno offers hiking trails and a ski lift with panoramic views over the lake, while Calbuco, one of Chile's most active volcanoes, adds a dramatic backdrop to daily life in Puerto Varas.
