Stays Included
All-Inclusive Experience
The most complete way to experience Chile's Lake District. Over seven days, this itinerary combines every essential landscape (Petrohué Falls, Lake Todos los Santos, Osorno Volcano) with deeper explorations most trips skip: a full day around Volcán Calbuco's backroads, a countryside afternoon near Puerto Octay, an evening concert or garden visit at Frutillar's Teatro del Lago when in season, and time built in simply to enjoy Puerto Varas's lakefront at a relaxed pace.
All international and domestic flights route through Santiago. While this itinerary officially begins upon arrival in Puerto Montt, we are happy to assist with any pre-arrival logistics in Santiago, including private transfers, city tours, vineyard experiences, or overnight stays.
These services are optional and arranged upon request.

Private reception at Puerto Montt Airport and transfer to Puerto Varas, set along the shores of Lake Llanquihue with sweeping views toward the perfect cone of Osorno Volcano and the more jagged silhouette of Calbuco. Time to settle in and take a relaxed walk along the lakefront promenade, past the town's characteristic shingled German-style houses and rose gardens that have earned it the nickname 'City of Roses'. Activity:
National park exploration, waterfalls & volcano hike
Description:
A full day inside Chile's oldest national park, Vicente Pérez Rosales. Begin at the Petrohué Waterfalls, where turquoise rapids thunder over dark volcanic rock with Osorno Volcano rising directly behind them. Continue up the volcano's flanks to a mountainside viewpoint reached by ski lift, taking in sweeping panoramas over Lake Llanquihue, the surrounding forest and the distant peaks of the Andes. A gentle hike along the volcano's lower slopes adds a closer sense of the terrain before returning to Puerto Varas.

Activity:
Glacial lake navigation & native forest exploration
Description:
Head into the eastern reaches of the national park for a boat crossing on Lake Todos los Santos, also known as Lago Esmeralda for its emerald-green water. Framed by dense native forest and snow-capped peaks, the lake reveals the raw, glacial character of the Andes as you cross it toward the wild valleys near the Argentine border. Short walks along the shoreline and viewpoints of the Tronador massif complete a day of quiet, cinematic scenery.

Activity:
Village exploration, cultural heritage & lakeside concert hall
Description:
Travel north along the shores of Lake Llanquihue to Frutillar, one of the region's most photogenic villages and the heart of its German-Chilean heritage. Walk the waterfront lined with colonial homes, visit the German Colonial Museum with its restored farmhouse, watermill and gardens, and stop at the striking Teatro del Lago, a world-class concert hall built directly over the lake. In season, an evening performance or garden visit adds a rare cultural note to the day.

Full-day scenic drive, native forest & volcanic landscapes

A full day exploring the quieter side of the region on the backroads around Volcán Calbuco, one of Chile's most active volcanoes. The route winds through dairy farmland, native forest and small rural chapels rarely seen on standard trips, with viewpoints over the volcano's dramatic profile and the deep blue of Lago Chapo. Stops for a countryside lunch and short walks along volcanic beaches reveal a slower, more intimate face of the Lake District.
