All international and domestic flights route through Santiago. While this itinerary officially begins upon arrival in Calama, we are happy to assist with any pre-arrival logistics in Santiago, including private transfers, city tours, vineyard experiences, or overnight stays.

Description:
Private reception at Calama Airport and scenic transfer across the desert to San Pedro de Atacama, your base for the coming days. Time to settle in and adjust gently to the altitude before heading into the Cordillera de la Sal for a late-afternoon walk through Valle de la Luna. Explore salt caves, dune ridges and eroded canyons before reaching a private viewpoint to watch the sunset paint the desert in gold and crimson, a first, unforgettable encounter with the Atacama.

Description:
Head south into the Los Flamencos National Reserve to explore the vast Salar de Atacama, Chile's largest salt flat, with a stop at the Chaxa Lagoon to observe three species of Andean flamingos feeding in shallow, mirror-like pools. A visit to the traditional village of Toconao adds cultural context to the day, its houses carved from pale volcanic stone. In the evening, a private stargazing session under the clearest skies in the southern hemisphere reveals the Milky Way, nebulae and southern constellations with extraordinary clarity.

Description:
Very early departure to reach the El Tatio Geysers at dawn, one of the highest geothermal fields on Earth at 4,300 meters. Watch columns of steam rise against snow-capped volcanoes in the freezing morning air, one of the most powerful natural spectacles in Chile. Return through the Andean landscape with a stop at the tiny village of Machuca, home to adobe houses and llama herders, before descending to the Puritama Hot Springs, a chain of natural thermal pools hidden in a desert canyon at 3,500 meters — the perfect way to close the day.
