An all-inclusive lodge inside Patagonia National Park, in the Chacabuco Valley of Aysén — guided hikes, wildlife and the open steppe of the southern Carretera Austral.

Explora Patagonia National Park is in the Chacabuco Valley, inside Patagonia National Park (Parque Nacional Patagonia), a short drive from Cochrane in the southern Aysén Region of Chilean Patagonia.
Getting there is part of the journey: a flight from Santiago to Balmaceda Airport, then the lodge's daily transfer — about five hours along the Carretera Austral, mostly on gravel, past Cerro Castillo and the turquoise shores of Lago General Carrera. If your flight doesn't match the transfer, we plan a night in Coyhaique, or break the drive with a night near the Marble Caves.
Once you arrive, the valley opens up: steppe, lenga forests and mountain lagoons, with guanacos grazing just outside the lodge.
Every trip is fully customizable to match your rhythm. Whether you prefer peaceful forest walks, days of fly fishing, moments of deep relaxation, or more active adventures like horseback riding and trekking, your experience is tailored entirely to your interests and desired intensity.
